Britannia Beach
Britannia Beach is just 10 minutes south of Downtown Squamish. It is the home of the Britannia Mine Museum that was once the largest copper mine in the British Empire. Today, it is a charming community with mix of older mobile and heritage homes to newer homes with sleek, West Coast style overlooking breathtaking ocean views. Since the 2000’s, single family lots were sold, ranging in size from 10,000 square feet to estate properties.
In South Britannia, there are plans in motion to build a mixed-use community with a select quantity of townhomes and low-rise condos, tourist attractions, and commercial amenities. Already underway in North Britannia is a development of 73 townhomes, a few of which will be live/work units.
