After completing university, he spent several years in the construction industry, earning his carpentry apprenticeship along with certificates in Construction Operations and Supervision. This background provides Kory with a valuable understanding of homes from the ground up—an advantage his clients truly appreciate.

Encouraged by his mother, longtime local REALTOR® Dorothy Swanson, Kory transitioned into real estate 20 years ago. Since then, he has built a strong reputation for his market knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to his clients.

Having lived in Squamish for nearly five decades, Kory has witnessed the town’s growth and evolution firsthand. He enjoys welcoming and helping new families discover what makes this community special—from its incredible outdoor lifestyle to its proximity to both the mountains and the ocean.

Outside of real estate, Kory is an avid cook and traveller. A lifelong sailor, scuba diver, and skier, his adventures have taken him from the South Pacific to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and the mountains of Japan.
