I’ve lived in the Sea to Sky corridor for nearly 25 years—first calling North Vancouver home, and later Whistler. My previous work had me driving the breathtaking Sea to Sky Highway countless times, regularly passing by Squamish along the way. I rarely stopped, and as a result, never truly understood the community or what made it special.

Almost nine years ago, as my family grew and our housing needs changed, Squamish made practical sense financially. What I couldn’t have anticipated then was just how deeply connected I would feel to this place. Now, having built a life here, I recognize how truly remarkable it is. I feel incredibly fortunate to be raising my two children in this community. With complete conviction, I can say there is nowhere else in the world I would rather call home. Squamish is where our family has put down roots—and where we plan to stay.
